Remote Monitoring Station
Networked Display of Real-Time Neural Signals and Patient Video
The Remote Monitoring Station (RMS) software provides networked displays of real-time neural signals output by the
ATLAS Neurophysiology System and patient video to clinical staff work areas. RMS also allows staff to remotely control the
video camera’s direction and zoom.
RMS Software
- Displays Pegasus-acquired electrode signals on standard scrolling EEG displays, and patient video in multiple work areas
- Existing Ethernet LAN used for both scrolling EEG and video signal
- Convenient configuration files provide custom channel selection display and screen layout of display windows
- Runs on standard Windows® 7 computers for a cost effective solution
- Multiple monitors are supported as standard Windows 7 display devices
- Multiple instances of RMS may be run simultaneously
RMS Signal Display
- Displays all signals acquired by Pegasus, including EEG and microwire channels
- NetCom network data distribution software library provides low latency, smooth scrolling displays and efficient network bandwidth usage
- Scrolling EEG displays have same familiar “look and feel”
as in Pegasus program

RMS Video Display & Control
- HD video provides high-resolution images, from patient facial details to full body, eliminating the need for multiple cameras
- Patient’s room HD video camera remotely viewed and controlled with pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functions for convenient
on-screen control of simple adjustments or patient privacy needs - HD video IP cameras allow network distribution to multiple network locations, including video data storage
- Video monitoring with PTZ camera control
